I      CultivationObjectives

The Standardization Engineeringmajor aims to cultivate those who have scientific literacy, humanistic spirit,international vision and pioneering and innovative spirit, and have a solidprofessional foundation and good knowledge structure, know modern managementand information economy concepts, and have mastered standardized engineeringand system management knowledge and standardized application abilities inspecific fields. Those who obtain this training can cooperate with relevantprofessional engineering and technical personnel in the fields of enterprisesand public institutions at all levels, government departments, organizations,supply chains, industrial engineering and other fields to carry out therevision of relevant standards, standardization system construction,standardization project design and development, organization andimplementation, and whole process management, with a certain degree ofmanagement communication, cooperation and organization and implementationabilities, and a rigorous scientific research attitude and strong practicalapplication abilities of composite innovation applied talents.

 

       The goals thatstudents must achieve five years after graduation

Goal 1: Firm political direction, alove of the motherland, support the leadership of the Communist Party of China;Have good humanities and social science literacy, patriotic feelings andnational pride, have a sense of social responsibility, adhere to professionalethics;

Goal 2: Master standardizationengineering, quality management, and other related professional knowledgesystems, have a deep foundation of standardization principles, a solid grasp ofstandardization technology and methods; Be able to independently undertake thestandardization work of an enterprise, conduct professional standardizationconsultation and services, participate in domestic and internationalstandardization activities, and independently preside over the development,application, and subject research of major standardization projects of anenterprise;

Goal 3: Be able to use the latesttechnology and tools of standardization engineering, lead a team to organizethe establishment of enterprise standardization management systems, lead theoverall construction, implementation, application, and promotion of enterprisestandardization, and use standardization concepts to improve strategicdecision-making, management level, and effectiveness;

Goal 4: Have good communicationskills, interpersonal skills and teamwork spirit, outstanding organizationaland management skills, certain innovation abilities and basic decision-makingabilities;

Goal 5: Have an internationalperspective, maintain physical and mental health and sustainable developmentmotivation, have the abilities to update the knowledge of standardizationengineering, good thinking abilities and lifelong learning awareness, and especiallyhave the abilities to devote themselves to research in the industry, andcontinue to learn standardized technology and methods, standardized management,and other aspects.

 

II     Academic Requirementsfor Program Completion

Graduation Requirements and DegreeConferral

Students of this major mustcomplete the minimum credits required by the various courses according to therequirements of the guiding cultivation plan, and complete the correspondingextracurricular arrangements. Students can graduate only when they obtain atleast 156 credits; those who meet the requirements for the conferral of abachelor's degree will be awarded a Bachelor of Management degree.

 

Program duration

Flexible academic period, generally4 years, with a flexible range of no less than 3 years and no more than 6years.

Programrequirements

The Bachelor ofStandardization Engineering requires students to successfully complete 156credits, which are comprised of:

  • At     least 49.5 credits from Public Fundamental Courses;

  • At     least 10 credits from General Education Courses;

  • At     least 30 credits from Professional Fundamental Courses;

  • All     38 credits from Core Courses;

  • All     27.5 credits from Professional Practice.

Professionalcourses are divided into modules according to different ability requirements, andstudents are required to choose one of the modules and earn the creditsrequired for that module. The Professional Practice module must be selectedaccording to the corresponding professional course module.

 

Module A:Supply Chain Standardization

This moduleaims at the talent demands of supply chain-related fields, focuses on thestandardization construction of the five characteristics of wisdom, technology,management, organization, and green in the supply chain, cultivates appliedstandardized engineering talents who master the basic principles of supplychain standardization construction, understand the relevant operations in an intelligentsupply chain, have the knowledge and comprehensive application abilities ofstandardized engineering and supply chain management, and have the abilities tocarry out procurement, logistics practice, finance and service in the keysupply chain fields such as logistics, e-commerce, international trade, socialmanagement and public services.

Module B:Industrial Standardization Module

This moduleaims to meet the needs of talents for standardization construction inindustrial-related fields, train them to master the basic principles ofindustrial standardization construction, understand the relevant operations inindustrial engineering, and have the knowledge and comprehensive application abilitiesof standardization engineering and industrial management. Appliedstandardization engineering talents with the abilities to carry out industrialproduction, testing, design, and management standardization work in industrialengineering-related fields such as machinery industry and intelligentmanufacturing.

 

VII         SecondClassroom Credits Policy

 

Through thedevelopment of the Second Classroom activities, students are encouraged toactively participate in academic lectures, social practice activities, campuscultural and sports activities, innovation and entrepreneurship activities,volunteer service activities, etc., to cultivate the students' socialadaptability and quality, and enhance the students' employability.
